Old MUD

Nilgiri is one of the oldest DikuMUD class of online multi-player games. A lot of MUDs claim to be old. I would question that until they can produce a pedigree like this:

On October 12, 1991 in the alt.mud and rec.games.mud Usenet groups Scott Goehring posted his Mudlist, pre Volume 1, Issue 1. We are listed as one of nineteen DikuMUDs:
