Drow

Drow are a depraved and evil subterrantean offshoot of elves. They have jet black skin and pale hair, with white being the most common. They tend to be smaller and thinner than other sorts of elves, and their eyes are usually a vivid red. Although dark gray and purple have existed. Their society is matriarchal and rigidly controlled by the priesthood. Female drow favor the cleric class where males favor being warriors and wizards. Their race has the natural ability to levitate up and down but in no other directions. They can also summon a globe of absolute darkness once per day. The only counter to this is a cleric's continual light spell.
